With the weight of a beloved series like Avatar: The Last Airbender behind her, the next actor to play fan favourite Katara is really hoping she can 'serve it justice'

Avatar: The Last Airbender is a really beloved series, and with a new animated film on the way, the newest actor behind Katara is hoping she doesn’t mess up.A sequel film to the original Avatar series has been in the works for a little while now, and back in April the voice cast was revealed, which for the part has some lesser-known names, though it did also attach Guardians of the Galaxy’s Dave Bautista in an unnamed villain role. That selection of new cast is taking over the roles of beloved characters like Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Toph, and in a recent interview with Collider, Jessica Matten, the new voice behind Katara, spoke of what it’s been like taking over the role, getting to know the rest of the cast, and the weight she feels over joining such a beloved series. To see this content…

Alan Wake 2's composer says the Lake House DLC has left him "crying constantly", a "damn ugly snot cry" at that, which can only be good news, right?

Alan Wake 2 has one more piece of DLC due out this October, and working on the soundtrack has left the game’s composer a bit moist. When Remedy announced that it would be releasing a couple of pieces of DLC for Alan Wake 2, I was ecstatic considering just how good that game was. The first piece, which was a mini-anthology type thing about a couple of characters from the base game (and one not so much from the base game that I won’t spoil for those that haven’t got to it yet). The second and final piece of DLC, titled The Lake House, is due out next month sometime, and the game’s composer Petri Alanko has shared that working on it has left him “crying constantly”, though of course didn’t spill any beans on what the DLC will be like.To see this content please enable targeting cookies.Manage c…

To the dismay of many Silent Hill 2 fans, the remake's classic ranch sign doesn't use Comic Sans… unless you know where to look

The ranch sign in the original Silent Hill 2 is iconic for its tonally off use of Comic Sans, but the remake changed it – apart from where it didn’t.Early on in Silent Hill 2, you come across Silent Hill Ranch, which in the HD Collection version uses the much memed upon font Comic Sans. Of course, way back then, Comic Sans being the meme font wasn’t as much of a thing, it was only in the years after where people made jokes with and about it, but it’s become a sticking point for Silent Hill 2 fans all the same. It’s no surprise that one of the first things fans might do, including deals wizard Wario64, is check to see what the fan looks like, only to find… that the sign just looks pretty regular. No Comic Sans, no funny other font, just a regular looking ranch sign that could believa…

Until Dawn 2 isn't confirmed, but hints from a couple of its cast members might just suggest a sequel is on the way

If you’re hoping for an Until Dawn sequel, you might be in luck, as a couple of its cast members seemingly suggested a follow-up is on the way.The Until Dawn remake only released just the other week, but there’s already lingering questions over a potential sequel, questions only bolstered by the fact that cast members Hayden Panettiere and Peter Stormare may have hinted at a follow-up game (thanks, Eurogamer). In a recent bonus video, Panettiere, who plays Sam Giddings in the game, said “Until Dawn has been around for years and years now. I think people love it. And the fact that they are going further with it says that there’s a want for it.” This could potentially be in reference to the live-action film adaptation in the works, though the phrasing is obviously a bit particular there whic…

It’s not typical for this console to receive any kind of discount, so we’re usually skeptical that there’s something amiss when one pops up, like an iffy warranty, or that it isn’t the U.S. version, which includes a different power adapter. However, there are no strings attached; you’re just getting a great deal.Nintendo Switch OLED$300$35014% off$300Nintendo’s hybrid console still has plenty of staying power, especially with this year…
